Weatherby Clear and Calm of Hidden Springs
Weatherby exemplifies the classic conformation of an English labrador with his broad chest, blocky head, and thick double coat. He is intelligent and thoughtful, athletic and fun-loving. He is gentle and relaxed in the house and driven in the field. He embodies the “on off switch” dog.
He has achieved his AKC Senior hunter title and is currently working on his Master hunter title. He has also earned his HRCH title, UKC Hunting Retriever champion.

After a late start in introduction to the show ring, Weatherby attained his AKC championship title in the show ring in a few months.
​
He is an outstanding waterfowl dog, His skill set and drive allow him to work through complex situations marking multiple falls and handling at great distances. Our hunting season extends through, January where we experience extreme weather, including freezing temperatures, heavy winds and waves - when stormy weather turns many dogs back to the kennel you might hear Weatherby say "I am the storm."
Weatherby is a certified Pet Partners therapy/Animal Assisted Crisis Response team dog.

Hidden Springs' Grimm Shadow of Elmwoode
From Hidden Springs comes our newest edition, Grimm. We are excited to parter with Edna Schneck of Hidden Springs Master Labradors. Grimm is son of our Weatherby bred to AKC CH Pointed SH Jubilee.
​Edna sits atop the pinnacle for breeding the dual purpose labrador - the performance working labrador with beautiful conformation looks.

While Grimm has only been with us for very short while, he has captured the hearts of everyone with his fun, loving, yet calm personality. We expect him to continue the legacy Edna has perpetuated through all these years - the consummate gun dog, family dog, hunt and show champion.
